A frontal view of the float bridge.  Spikes jutting from the wooden ties once held railroad tracks to the bridge.  This particular float bridge is in fairly good condition, considering it has been abandoned for over thirty years.

A view of the top of the gantry.  A burnt-out storage shed sits on top of the structure.

A closer view of the shed.

A view of the gantry, looking south from the newly built Hudson River Park piers.

A view of the gantry and float bridges from under the elevated West Side Highway viaduct.
